Roy Brothers Angus

Brothers Shane and Nick have been partners in Angus cattle since 2009 starting with a herd of commercial cows.  It wasn't just a few years later that the first group of registered Angus were purchased and the journey began. 

While new to Angus cattle at the time, the brothers were no strangers to cattle.  Each grew up working on the family dairy farm milking, caring for the herd, and raising crops.  While their parents have retired from dairy, Shane still operates the family dairy farm while Nick works full time off the farm in an agriculture related field.

Roy Brothers Angus genetics trace back to many well known Angus breeders in Kentucky including Smithland Angus, Stonegate Farms, Joe D Burton & Sons, Elk Creek Angus, and Hammerhead Cattle Company.  In more recent years, we have also been able to acquire females originating from nationally recognized herds including Schaff's Angus Valley and Mohnen Angus Farms.

The breeding goals of Roy Brothers Angus is to produce quality Angus cows who excel in reproductive traits, are docile, and possess excellent mothering ability.
